An administrator of an Enterprise Asset Management software solution called MAXIMO for IBM. Responsible for upgrading, troubleshooting and achieving high availability of the system for end users using application cluster, MySQL DB (Active/passive) Availability Group and VMware instance to make two replicas.
To facilitate the work flow, I wrote a Java program that monitors the status of MAXIMO and sends a daily report to my email. Furthermore, I implemented a GUI program that reads data from any type of database, then shows the content of the database without the need of writing a database query. I have also built a program that converts Excel files to XML files so that another system called AMOS could read the data.
